| "So far it still needs a host." Zero added with a slight shrug. He had a feeling eventually it wouldn't, but at the moment, he was still necessary.
A copy of Zero seemed to appear out of thin air, however it wavered slightly as if it were a hologram. It's eyes were red and it's hair color was actually a little darker than Zero's, but that was the only real difference. The virus smiled at Lumine, though it was a twisted one. "Well, well, I never thought I'd see you again."
Zero actually sighed, but he didn't seem that concerned.

| "On it." Zero called before transferring everyone back to the base. Unfortunately that included the virus. He picked Axl up and put him in a pod before quickly getting to work on trying to solve the problem the virus had started. "He sent a small dose of the Maverick virus through Axl's systems. Unfortunately since it's directly from the source it's rather concentrated." He explained to Lumine while he worked.

| Zero quickly got some antivirus software to run through Axl's systems to help flush it out before downloading it to Axl. The prototypes systems didn't seem to be strong enough to handle flushing it out on it's own so this would help it.

| Lumine watched first, seeing how much they knew about the systems of a copy reploid. Even though he was the prototype, his systems were still similar to his own.
"Try and keep the virus away from his copy chip. It's the most sensitive part of our programming." he piped in, adding an anti-virus barrier around said area. "If that's hit, it'll take days to clear it out."

| "It looks like his internal cooling systems and nervous system are out of whack," commented X. "I'll try to get them online."
Having three monitors and control pads running at once would make the job much more effective. They each could focus on a specific problem to help Axl. X quickly got to work reconfiguring Axl's internal cooling and nervous systems and bringing them back online, sparing some of his own energy to start them.

| Zero got to work fortifying Axl's defenses to ensure that it would be able to at least hold off the virus for a little while longer. He reconfigured some of Axl's programming himself, but he knew what he was doing. He took care to make sure he had the copy chip properly guarded alongside Lumine.
