| "TRAINING LEVEL 10 ACTIVATED."
These words were spouted by a training machine Red was using.
He was training as a storm was occuring.Protected in the building he was in at that moment,he didn't realized that a lightning provoked a malfunction of the system.Red was waiting patientely his virtual opponent to appear.
But...The opponent who was going to appear...Wasn't virtual at all...
I don't especially like to fight...But if you get in my way,I'll have no other choice...I can't loose...For my friends and my family...I can't lose!

| Zero had transferred himself into the training room, needing an easy place to hide himself away until he located X. However, he paused when he noticed someone on the opposite side of the room. Apparently someone was using it already. That storm had really messed up his ability to scan his environment. "Who are you?" He asked crimson eyes glancing over the person opposite of him. The Maverick hadn't seen him around the base before.

| Red's eyes widely opened.
"Waoh,this machine was known for his realism but that's beyond what I imagined..."
Red wasn't realizing that the opponent he had in front of him was actually Zero.
"You don't need to know my name cause this training will be over soon!"
Red drew his large and heavy sword out.
I don't especially like to fight...But if you get in my way,I'll have no other choice...I can't loose...For my friends and my family...I can't lose!

| The Maverick couldn't help but grin. Whoever they were they looked like they would be fun to fight. Unfortunately he didn't know a lot about them so he couldn't toy with them mentally. "Well, well, someone's anxious to die." Zero commented before drawing his plasma blade. Killing X could wait.

| "You should be running the opposite way if you don't wanna die." Zero stated his crimson eyes watching Red carefully to see how the other would attack. He dashed at his opponent as well still analyzing as much as he could.

| Zero jumped off to the side to avoid the attack before dashing back over to Red and attempting to bring his sword down on his enemies head.

| As his sword hit the ground,Red noticed his enemy's sudden dash.He had to think fast.As Zero's sword was going down,Red used his gun to protect himself.
"Too bad!"
Red kicked the crimson Maverick back and shot several times with his gun.

| Zero jumped back to avoid being shot too many times and grimaced. He'd been shot about three times, but he could ignore them for the most part. He got into a stance to brace himself properly before firing off a shot from his buster. It was only half charged, but still generated a good amount of kickback.

The apparently regular gun began to charge energy itself.
"CHARGE..."
A little "BEEP" was heard.
"SHOT!"
Red released a full red charged shot.

| Zero cursed under his breath before doing his best to try to avoid the shot. It got his buster arm which caused it to spark slightly from the damage. The blond gritted his teeth before dashing at Red again intent on slashing his enemy any way he could.

| Red was kinda surprised by the speed of his enemy.Avoiding the slashes or defending with his sword,he got however by a horizontal slash,at the level of his chest..
"!!!"
Blood made his way out of his body as he jumped back,holding his wound.
"(How could this be?This machine is not supposed to do real damage!)"
Red began to understand what was going on.

| Red hadn't guessed HOW,but he surely knew WHO was in front of him.Looking at his wound and the blood coming out from it,he lokoed back at Zero and a slight grin appeared on his face.
"Hehe...That's the best training I could hope for..."
He held his sword with more force and took his battle stance.
"Let's get serious!ZERO!"
