| Zero chuckled before glancing over everything that was in the pantry. "What would you like?" He asked eyeing a few things he could make, but nothing really gathered his interest. He was having trouble deciding what to make. "Are there any steaks?"

| "We get fresh meats from the butcher every day," replied X, pointing to a freezer. There were several large steaks and other cuts of meat inside. "Seasonings are on that shelf."

| "I guess I'll be nice and fix you one." Zero mused before grabbing everything he needed. He decided to just sear them in a skillet and while he waited for it to heat up he grabbed a few seasonings to put on the steaks. He decided to cook them one at a time not wanting to mess them up. He set X's on a plate before starting to cook his. "Here you go."

| X seemed somewhat surprised that Zero actually made him a steak, as he'd really only been kidding about Zero making something for him. Either way the steak looked quite good. One bite confirmed that it tasted even better. "This is fantastic, Zero!" he exclaimed.

| Zero finished cooking his and began to eat it. He hummed when X spoke mostly because he had food in his mouth. "It could be better." He admitted before focusing on eating the rest of the steak. He was definitely hungry.

| "I... don't really know." The blond finally admitted before taking the dishes to wash them. "Some of my memories are a bit hazy. I assume where my culinary skills come from is locked in one of them." He wasn't sure why he told X about the problems he had with his memories, but it seemed like he could trust the blue reploid enough.

| Locked memories? That worried X a bit. How could memories be locked? Ah well. After he had washed his own plate, he checked for any messages from Dr. Cain. There was none. Ah well.
"C'mon, let's go to the training center." He motioned for Zero to follow him.

| Zero noticed a faint change in X's demeanor and made a note not to reveal too much about himself to the blue reploid. He nodded and followed X back down to the training rooms.

| After arriving at the B-Class training center, X keyed in the passcode to allow access, then escorted Zero in. There was no one using the center at the moment, so Zero could train without abandon. The blue Reploid walked to the weapon storage rack and fumbled through a small assortment of practice sabers, checking the balance of each one to find his--even though he couldn't use a saber very well, he would use one for this occasion--and picking one with a balance better suited for Zero. He tossed the second saber to Zero. "You know how to operate one, right?"

| Zero caught the saber before examining it for a moment. He seemed to pick up how it worked quickly because he soon had it powered on and began taking a few practice swings. "I know the general ideas." He paused in his swings to examine the saber more closely. It seemed to have a power setting on it.

| "Good." X turned on his own saber, setting it to its lowest setting. "We'll be using the lowest power setting for this, since it's only training. It won't cause serious injuries." He took a few swings as well to get himself used to using a saber again.

| Zero nodded before turning the setting down and taking a few more swings to get himself used to the saber a little more. "Ready when you are." He said getting into a stance that he felt was natural. It wasn't a very good one for sword fighting, but it would do.

| X slid into a ready stance as well, with the sword behind his back. It wasn't a stance set for actually using a saber, but it would suffice. He remained calm, observing Zero's stance carefully, but never making the first move.

| Zero stood where he was for a few seconds allowing something to click in his mind. He adjusted his stance before leaping at X bringing his sword in a diagonal slash. He seemed to know what he was doing now, or at least knew more than before.

| X brought up his saber up to block the slash, blades clashing. The impact pushed X back a few inches. He's strong!

| Something inside Zero's mind changed when their blades clashed. He used more force to try and push X off balance and planned to jam his shoulder into the blue reploid's chest to force him to the ground. He was already more aggressive than he had been during the initial combat assessment and they hadn't even been sparring for very long.

| Something seemed far wrong. Zero didn't show this kind of aggression during the testing. Worse still, he was much stronger than he first appeared. X's balance was pushed back, causing him to actually almost fall over.
