| Saying that Iris was a nervous wreck would be a small understatement.
She was looking everywhere for anyone; Zero, X, Colonel, anyone. While she woukdn't admit it, Iris, was terrified. Where was everyone?
She had no clue where she was; Only that she in a decimated area, full of debris and broken machines. Was the Ragnorok she had heard about?
It wasn't until she snapped herself out of her thoughts when she saw a ghostly looking figure a few yards away.
Blue... There is only one person I know who wields that much blue. Smiling, Iris felt her hopes skyrocket as she ran towards the figure. "X!"
I don't want to fight... But if I want to protect the ones I love and care for, then I will do whatever it takes to do so.

| Why did X decide to come back to the Ragnarok crash site? He knew Zero was alive, and he knew that everything was as it should be. Did he need finality that Weil was gone and everyone was at peace?
X had left the fledgling reconstruction of Neo Arcadia in Zero and Axl's care for a brief time to explore. Clad in his familiar blue robes, he stood out in stark contrast to the charred grey metal and stark brown land. He was rather confused as to how Zero survived such a catastrophe...was it the Cyber-elf Alouette had given him that saved him?
A familiar voice caught X's attention, one he hadn't heard in well over a century. He turned around, noticing a blur of red, blue, and white, with long brown hair. It took a moment for his memory banks to remember who she was. "Iris?!" he called almost in disbelief.
Were Zero there, he would have a heart attack.
((PROTIPS: You may want to label an RP with whoever you want to RP with (like how me and Zero marked ours, or how Axl and Zero marked theirs). Also, you may want to get a profile picture soon. ^^))

| Once Iris had reached the blue-clad figure, she recognized him instantly. She stopped once she reached X to catch her breath, her core working overtime. Once she calmed down, she looked up at X, relief etched on her face. "X... I'm so glad you're alright..." Iris flashed a smile, one that would make a man blush.
"If I may ask, what is this place?" She asked, looking around, wincing when a piece of metal fell.

| X was still a bit dumbstruck at seeing Iris again after so many years, yet it felt like only a few days ago he'd met her when she became his and Zero's new navigator. But...how did she come back? Wasn't she dead? Or did she pull some sort of Deus ex Machina and come back?
He snapped out of his confusion when Iris asked him a question. "Oh...this is ground zero where the space colony Ragnarok fell to earth," he replied. He left out the detail that this was also supposedly where Zero had died, as he didn't want to worry her.

| Iris giggles at X's confused look. Once quality she liked about X was his ability to look so adorable!
Her expression turned solemn when X explained the surroundings. She was confused when X said 'ground zero', but decided to ask about it later. Instead she looked around. "This looks so devastating... Who could've done this...?" Judging by the looks of it, Ragnarok must've been massively sized.

| X smiled a little when Iris giggled. Now he almost wished Zero had tagged along, as he missed Iris terribly after her death, but he had a feeling the blonde would likely be traumatized with the memories of her death.
Instead, X decided to answer Iris' initial question. "A Maverick named Dr. Weil tried to crash the Ragnarok into the planet to wipe out everything--humans, Reploids, all life, basically--and rebuild in his image. Thankfully...a hero stopped him, but he vanished afterward..."
X tried to hide Zero from this conversation. He didn't need to worry Iris. Not so soon after meeting her again.
I wish I could avoid violence...but if I did, this world wouldn't be able to live in peace. So I will fight for this world, to protect humans and Reploids alike.

| Iris gasped and her eyes widened in shock as a hand flew up to her mouth. How terrible! This Dr. Weil almost sounded as horrible as Sigma!
When Iris heard the rest of X's explanation, she smiled in understanding. She knew who X was talking about. "X, I'm not stupid."

| X could tell Iris was absolutely horrified at his explanation, and that she knew just how terrible Weil truly was without ever having seen him. However, he was a bit confused at what she'd said. He tilted his head to the side in confusion.
"What do you mean?" he asked.

| X was silent. There was now no point in hiding that Zero put his life on the line to save everyone. Still, the fact that he was still alive would likely be a surprise to her. He wouldn't tell her that Zero was back at the base.
"Well, you know who I was talking about," he admitted. "Now I need to ask something...how did you come back...?"

| Iris took X's silence as a sign she won. She felt triumphant inside.
When X asked her the question, she blinked and became thoughtful. "...I don't actually know. I guess you could say I pulled off a Deus ex Machina. But I can say that I woke up... Three days, sixteen hours and twenty-seven minutes ago." Iris didn't know how she came back, but she did know when she came back. She didn't remember where, though...

| X had folded his hands behind his back when Iris explained herself. So it seemed she was in a similar situation as Axl, but instead of not remembering what had happened, she didn't remember how she'd returned.
Instead of trying to push for answers, X smiled. "Well, what matters is that you're here, ne?" he asked. "The means don't matter since it seems you're alright."

She wasn't trying to be funny; That's what it really sounded like. Plus, she still had her old design from back in the day, so she would look terribly out of place.

| "W-well..." X was a bit hesitant. How could he explain what a Cyber-elf was? More importantly, how could he explain that he was, by all accounts, dead? "A...well, a Cyber-elf is like the...um...the 'soul' of a Reploid...er...well, the core data, anyway...and it gets sent to Cyberspace when the Reploid um...er...well...dies."
He looked away, not sure what Iris would say about that.

Regardless, he was more than willing to show her around the fledgling Neo Arcadia. "Alright," he said with a small nod. "Follow me." The blue-robed elf started walking south, toward the mass of dilapidated buildings and construction fields he called home.

| Iris had said too much; She said that without thinking. She said that while she had her hopes up of Zero being alive. She didn't even notice X's reaction to what she had said. It took her a moment to realize he was walking away, and darted after him.
Once she was walking at his pace, she absently looked at the passing surroundings. The place was an absolute mess.

| X noticed the distant look in Iris' eyes at the catastrophe that was once Neo Arcadia. "This place used to be a utopia for humans and Reploids alike," he explained, "but Weil decided to change that. There was a powerful cannon on Ragnarok that could be used as a devastating global weapon; he fired it at Neo Arcadia in an attempt to eradicate everything."
X was unaware that it wasn't Weil who destroyed Neo Arcadia, but another Reploid who wanted to destroy Weil. Still, what mattered was that Weil was the cause of it.

He wanted absolute power and to destroy everything--Reploids, humans, it didn't even matter to him. He was worse than a Maverick."
X looked over at Iris after she mentioned Zero again. "Oh...okay." Whew. So she didn't know?

| Iris felt disgusted at X's explanation of Dr. Weil. Worse than a Maverick? She hadn't thought possible. Now everytime she would hear that name, she would feel disgusted.
Iris felt a pang of anger at X's reply to her statement of Zero. Okay? Just OKAY?! She kept her composure, however and kept walking.

| X noticed a change in the emotions he felt emanating from Iris at his replies--disgust at his description of Weil, anger at his response about Zero. He glanced over and sighed. He might as well stop hiding it.
"...Zero is alive," he eventually stated after a silence, pausing in his steps. "Sorry if I sounded blunt... When you mentioned not wanting to see Zero, I thought you might have already known."

| "He's fine," assured X. "No injuries last I saw him, which was only a few hours ago. You might be a bit surprised, though. He actually looks like a human now since upgraded Reploids have humanoid bodies under their armor, and can actually take off their armor."

| Iris felt a huge wave of relief wash over her, but when X mentioned Zero's appearance, she frowned and looked herself over; She looked like she used to during the Repliforce coup, although there were a few scratches here and there.

| "Alright then," said X with a nod. "The computers have programs for coming up with designs, so you can design your new look." The elf led Iris to the nearest intact lab, which looked practically untouched; everything was still in one piece and fully functioning.

| Iris was surprised at the lab's good condition. It almost looked like it was brand new compared to everything else. "Umm..... Which computer can I use....?"

With that, X walked off to go gather tools and supplies to upgrade Iris.

| It took about twenty minutes for X to find everything he would need and get everything organized to make the upgrades. Once he collected everything, he sat on a workbench and waited for Iris to finish up.

| Iris had to have herself analyzed before she could work on the upgrades, so that the computer could recommend something.
Iris was almost finished when X came in. After a few minutes she was done and looked to see the results.
It was actually rather good; On the outside, the design was similar to the one Iris had now, except much more slimmed down and a little less detailed.
Basically, it was fitting for this time.
Print out blueprints? Y/N

Iris waited patiently for the blueprints before she handed them over to X.

| X examined the blueprints Iris handed him. The design was very simple and wouldn't take long at all...unfortunately he needed to actually build a new body for her. Thankfully, that wouldn't take long; the labs that built Reploids always kept the basic body models for male and female Reploids; all that had to be changed was aesthetics, and he could easily transfer all of Iris' data over to the new body.
"Alright, I'll go get to work," he stated, taking the blueprints to another room.
