| X jumped slightly when he felt Zero's arm around his shoulders, then looked over at the blonde. He leaned over with his head resting against his friend's shoulder. He almost looked like he wanted to just sleep.

| Zero rubbed X's head, ruffling the cyber elf's hair slightly. He knew all too well how X felt, but there wasn't anything he could really do about it. The cyber elf was more sensitive to those kinds of things. He looked at Iris, still rather surprised that she was here. How did she get back? Didn't he..? He didn't bother to finish the thought. He knew all too well what he'd done.

Maverick. Murderers. Those words just kept haunting him, resonating and echoing. It sent a splitting pain through his head, causing him to double over from the pain, forehead pressed to the ground, clutching his head tightly. That just wasn't him. Iris had a good reason for wanting revenge--Colonel was her family. But...

| X was still a bit dazed from all the stress, but he was able to spot a familiar pinkish-purple aura starting to creep ever closer to him. At first he thought it was just his imagination, until the aura came in contact with him, sending a searing pain through his entire body.
The elf seized up as the virus started infecting him, slowly and agonizingly. He knew that virus had been way too quiet...

| Zero cursed and pushed X away causing the virus to lose it's contact with the cyber elf. Since the virus hadn't infected X too much it would still need to stay in contact to continue to do so. He put his hand where the aura was. A holo screen popped up in front of him. "Command prompt import." He said and immediately gritted his teeth and grunted when the virus was forced back through his systems. He doubled over from the pain and the purple aura quickly disappeared.

| X was delirious from the sudden shock on his body from the virus, coupled with the pain that still wracked him. His entire left leg--which was what the virus had come into contact with--was paralyzed. He hoped it would heal soon.
The brunette managed to snap out of his stupor enough to realize that Zero was hurt. He immediately pulled up a holo screen, which analyzed Zero's systems. Remembering how he'd tracked the virus down before, X hunted it down and locked it up deep in his systems. Hopefully that would stop it for a while, and it wouldn't affect Zero.
I wish I could avoid violence...but if I did, this world wouldn't be able to live in peace. So I will fight for this world, to protect humans and Reploids alike.

| Zero groaned when X trapped the virus within his systems. The action was rather painful, but not as much as importing the virus back into his systems. After a moment he managed to at least sit up properly without too much trouble. He glanced between the two of them. "Are you alright?" He managed to force out. The question was directed at the two of them, although his voice sounded a little strained.

| Zero grimaced at Iris' expression, but didn't say more. If she wanted to tell him she was fine, then so be it. "There's one on the fifth floor I think." He said not really sure. All he knew is that there wasn't one on their current floor. He turned his attention to X. "We should run a scan to make sure it didn't do too much damage." He said through clenched teeth. The virus was fighting against his systems and trying to get out. He managed to ignore it for the most part though.

| Zero sighed and managed to walk to the closest infirmary. He set X down on one of the benches and ran a quick scan. He made sure to edit how it scanned that way it wouldn't hurt X more like last time. The wound in his side was bad, but he was doing his best to ignore it. Moving around hurt quite a bit, but he was more concerned about the other two.

| X winced slightly at the scan, though it didn't hurt him like it did when he nearly withered away. However, the pain from the scan's intrusiveness was nothing compared to his leg. He managed to focus enough to dispell his robe, so all he was wearing was his pants and shoes. The markings had crept up his side a bit.

| Zero cursed and looked at the results. It seemed the virus was slowly but surely infecting X. "Is there a way to flush out your systems like when you were a reploid?" He asked remembering they had had to do that once to get rid of something else entirely. He wasn't sure about a cyber elf though. He'd never had to take care of them too much. But that was the only way to help X at the moment.

| X really couldn't speak at the moment, but he managed to look over at Iris and point to a small device behind her. It was a container, the perfect size for a small Cyber-elf. It was made as a prototype to purify the Baby Elves, but because they had died, it was never used. Perhaps it would work on X.

| X nodded, then closed his eyes and forced himself to take on the diminutive, light-orb elf form he often used to travel. Instead of giving off a radiant, rainbow colored aura, his form was now a pale silver, and the "X" shaped rings around him were dark purple and pulsating. He flew into the canister, almost falling out of the air in the process.

| When the light faded, X seemed to be back to normal, albeit no longer a rainbow-colored orb of light. Instead, he was now an actual Cyber-elf that resembled a "chibi" version of his original form as a Hunter.

| "Ow!" Zero whined while moving away and rubbing his nose. "You shouldn't attack those that are still injured." He muttered before going over to the workbench and fixing up the wound on his side. Luckily it wasn't too bad and he was able to fix it rather quickly. He ended up having to take off his armor that was on his forearms along with his chest armor to get to the wound.

| X had forgotten that Zero was still injured and flew over to Zero, sitting on his knee. He let loose some energy to heal the wound the rest of the way, so he wouldn't feel any pain.
I wish I could avoid violence...but if I did, this world wouldn't be able to live in peace. So I will fight for this world, to protect humans and Reploids alike.

| Zero blinked when X healed the wound. He'd gotten used to taking care of himself that he'd forgotten X could do such a thing. "Thanks." He said before noticing Iris was blushing and avoiding looking at him. He quickly put his armor back on.
