Lumine's face blossomed into an expression of pure, unrestrained horror. Zero was extremely destructive against any that wished to harm or had hurt his friends. There was a very, very, VERY slim chance that he'd get around the Crimson Devil without some kind of damage.

Axl blinked and looked at the white reploid wearily, suddenly on guard. The stature the other had versus the one in his memories t(hat popped up at the sight of the new reploid) didn't match. In his memories the lavender-head was confident and sadistic, but here he was timid and shy. Then again the shard that came from him might have been what made him evil in the first place.

Did you think you'd get rid of me that easily?

That was the voice that he remembered taunting him during his hibernation. The evil side of the newcomer's personality must have taken over and then transferred to him some time after infection. It was all so confusing. X probably knew.

"You didn't mean for it to happen, did you? Any of it." he asked, voice neutral as he looked at the other blankly.

Axl continued looking at the white reploid blankly. It made sense now, or at least some of it. And Lumine was another copy reploid, so Axl wasn't alone in that aspect anymore. But still...

Dashing forward, the black reploid punched the lavender-head hard on the cheek, putting all his frustration and power into it. Then he offered his hand to the white reploid with a smile. "Forgiving comes easy, trust does not. Can you prove to me that you can be trusted?"
