| Spider sighed as he stood in the sand. The soft crash of the water. Calm and steady. The sun setting into the water. The reds oranges and yellows that were thrown across the once blue sky. But then something caught his eye. He turned to see someone he recognized. "Well what do you know. If it isn't the boy that's worth the penny." Spider teased.

| X had decided to take a walk on the beach this afternoon. Zero was off gathering supplies for New Arcadia, Axl and Lumine were still practicing flying, and he had no idea where his two children and Iris were. He had time to kill, and watching the sunset always did the trick.
As he neared the shoreline, X nearly tripped over his own two feet when he saw a Reploid clad in black, notably taller than himself. At a distance he couldn't make out details, save for two spikes of "hair" that jutted back and up. He ran over to him to see if his assumption was true, and it was.
"Spider...?"
I wish I could avoid violence...but if I did, this world wouldn't be able to live in peace. So I will fight for this world, to protect humans and Reploids alike.

| X was immediately on his guard. There was no way this was Spider. This had to be Redips. Just had to be. Spider was dead, wasn't he?
"Prove you're the real Spider," he stated simply.

| Spider let out a small chuckle. "If I were Redips don't you think I would have attacked you already? And didn't you get rid of him anyways?" Spider asked. "But if you really want me to prove it, well it all depends on what will convince you the most." He added as he quickly made a playing card appear as if by magic.

| X hesitated for a moment before responding. "I've had a bit of a track record with dealing with foes that kept coming back," he stated simply, referring to Sigma. "Redips could easily be the same."
Upon hearing that last line he paused for a moment. "The real Spider would only remember up to a certain point," he noted, "whenever Redips switched out with him." Most likely, when Wild Jango attacked and wounded Spider, he'd left him for dead, and the Spider that came to the heliport to stop Jango was actually Redips. At least, that's what he guessed.
I wish I could avoid violence...but if I did, this world wouldn't be able to live in peace. So I will fight for this world, to protect humans and Reploids alike.

| X tilted his head to the side in confusion, still staring at that scar. When Spider was with them, he never had that scar. Even when Redips, posing as Spider, feigned his death he didn't have it.

| Spider jumped somewhat. Then sighed. "How did I not see that. I was wandering why you looked so different." A quick question crossed his mind. "If you're dead, why are you here? And how'd did you die in the first place?"
Spider wandered if X got himself killed during a mission or something. Or maybe he just let himself go, getting annoyed with the life he had. But it really didn't bother him much. Dead or alive he was still X.

| X sighed. He knew Spider was going to ask about that. "Long story short, I used my body to seal away something, and it forced my 'soul', what you see now, out of my body as a Cyber-elf. Someone destroyed my body to break the seal, which meant I was literally dead. As for why I'm here, I'm a Cyber-elf, meaning I can travel between the material world and the parallel Cyberspace."
