| X chuckled a little at Axl's comments. That was just like him. He was the only one aside from Zero who could instantly tell when the brunette was stressed. "Thanks, I'll go do that," he stated. "By the way, Axl, I don't remember if you could remove your armor and wear normal clothes like a human. If you can't, I'll be more than happy to make some upgrades for you so you can."

| X fell completely silent. He wasn't angry with Axl at all. But he WAS a bit...disturbed.
The brunette turned on his heel and walked out of the base to the walkway just outside the entrance, overlooking the ocean. Seconds later a scream echoed.

| Axl took X's abrupt departure badly and collapsed against a wall in tears. "I knew he'd hate me." the black reploid whimpered, falling to his rear and curling into a ball. He didn't even hear the scream over his sobbing.
