| X really wasn't sure what to do at that point. It was obvious that Axl was terrified, and the blue Reploid knew why, but he really didn't know how to comfort him anymore.

| X returned with the blanket and carefully wrapped Axl up in it. It was somewhat thin so he wouldn't overheat, but it was very soft and comforting. At the very least it should help him sleep soundly.

He really wanted to change out of his armor now that he'd gotten used to not actually having to wear it. The aesthetic upgrades were nice, but they made the armor feel a bit heavier. He was used to it now, but it was more comfortable sleeping in human clothes.

X walked over to another side of his room and set to work removing his armor, which took a little longer than it would for Zero to remove his, but once he got all of it off he changed into a pair of grey shorts and a blue tank top, then walked back over to Zero and Axl. He smiled, noting that Axl was sleeping soundly.

| X started lightly playing with one of Axl's tiny hands, which was barely big enough to grasp his fingertip. If he chose to, Axl could nibble on his finger again.
Oddly, X was already enjoying being a parent.
I wish I could avoid violence...but if I did, this world wouldn't be able to live in peace. So I will fight for this world, to protect humans and Reploids alike.

| Axl squealed in delight when he snagged the two hunters in his hands. But instead of nibbling like he had originally intended, he placed a baby kiss on them, giggling merrily.
I always want to protect those precious to me. Their lives are worth so much more than my own.
