| Axl followed the frog closer to a nearby pond, where he saw ducks, geese, and swans on the lake's surface. It was so beautiful. Stopping at the edge of the water line, he reached for one of the lily pads, wanting to know what it felt like.

The boy stopped as his eyes glazed over slightly, remembering something that was there, but the memory wasn't completely there. Him handing a bouquet of flowers to a taller man with a scar over an eye and being told that hunters didn't dawdle in petty things like that. Little tears formed as he pouted.

| X carefully plucked one of the ribbons out of Zero's hair--he used like three of the things to hold his hair back so it didn't matter--and used it to hold the bouquet together before setting it on his lap. He looked back over at Axl, pausing when he noticed that the little infant was about to cry. Something in the back of his mind told him why.
He remembered Red.
