| The virus woke up a few minutes after Dark X stopped to catch his breath. He was confused and rather groggy. He let out a groan when he tried to move. Everything hurt for some reason.

| The blond sat up and hugged Dark X while rubbing the cyber elf's back. "I'm not going anywhere." He said trying to soothe the cyber elf. He had a feeling Dark X's feelings would change after he really found out about the virus, but for now he treated the cyber elf kindly and kept going with the lie he'd told the small 'X'.

| Dark X buried his face against his nii-chan's shoulder and cried. The two were now the same height and "age" (six years old, physically, but Dark X was only mentally a three or four, and biologically only a day and a half old), but it was clear that the elf was still a baby and his nii-chan was much more mature.

| Virus Zero just let Dark X cry into his shoulder not caring that his shirt was starting to get soaked. He continued to rub the cyber elf's back and he rested his head on top of his. He was still a little tired, but taking care of Dark X was more important.

| Dark X didn't throw up. Instead he wound up leaning against the bathtub with a weak groan of pain. It hurt terribly and he didn't know what was wrong. His hands were clutching the fabric of his robe, a visual indication of the pain.

Suddenly, he coughed and clamped his hand over his mouth. A bit of blood mixed with black ooze leaked out between his fingers. He looked at his hand in shock and began to shake from fear.

| The blond cursed under his breath and cleaned off Dark X's hand before picking the cyber elf up. He went back into the bedroom with a towel and sat on the bed without letting go of Dark X. He pulled up a holo screen and did a scan on the small elf to try and see what was wrong.

| Dark X winced in pain and clutched his chest. His entire body was hurting now, for reasons he didn't understand. The pain was mainly oriented near his wings, between his shoulder blades. He clamped both hands over his mouth, coughing up more blood and black ooze. Whatever was happening was causing serious damage.
Then, with minimal warning, five ribbon-like, dagger-edged wings erupted from the elf's back, spraying blood droplets just about everywhere. Dark X collapsed limply against his nii-chan, having blacked out from the pain.

| Virus Zero held the cyber elf up so that he didn't fall off his lap and examined the wings. He had no doubt that was extremely painful. He ran one of his fingers over one of the newly sprouted wings and noticed just how sharp they were. Blood dripped down off his finger onto the bed. They were like razors.

| Dark X tried again to move one of his new wings. The signals were getting rather mixed up, and it was very difficult trying to even move them.
