| The virus could tell that Dark X was trying to move his wings, but he had a feeling it would be rather difficult since there were so many and they were brand new. It would take some time getting used to. "Do you feel better?" He asked wondering if the wings sprouting was what caused the cyber elf to feel so terrible moments ago.

| The virus picked Dark X up and laid the cyber elf on the bed before going to get something to clean up the room with. He came back a few minutes later before getting to work. After he was done he got new sheets and picked Dark X up while changing out the sheets on the bed.

| While his nii-chan cleaned, Dark X set to work trying to figure out how to move his wings. He eventually managed to get it to where he could lift them, but unfortunately he didn't have enough strength to keep them up.

| Virus Zero picked Dark X up and put the cyber elf on his head before getting up. He frowned at the thought of X seeing them. The brunette would more than likely take Dark X away from him, one way or another. He knew the cyber elf hadn't seen X ever since that first day he snatched Dark X out of the air and probably wanted to see X by now. He put his hands in his pockets and walked around hoping he didn't run into X.

The up-and-down motion with each step practically lulled the tiny elf to sleep, until he heard another set of footsteps nearby. He poked his head out from the blonde nest and looked around, noting a familiar blue-robed figure.
"PAPAAAA~!" he squealed as he flew straight over to him.

| X blinked in utter confusion as a tiny purple Cyber-elf that looked a little like him flitted over, giggling and calling him "Papa". "Uhh, h-hi?" he greeted hesitantly with a wave.
He paused when he noticed the diminutive blonde nearby and froze. He'd recognize those red eyes anywhere.

Dark X took one look at Zero and hissed. "You're the mean man who wants to hurt Papa!" he accused, immediately changing into his newly winged form. It seemed he could control his wings now, as they were flared out protectively to shield X.

One of the elf's wings shot out toward Zero. His aim was bad so likely it wouldn't do much.

X placed his hand on Dark X's shoulder. "It's the truth, little one," he said in a gentle tone. "Your 'nii-chan' is a bad person."

| Zero felt bad for Dark X. The little cyber elf had grown up believing that the virus was perfect and had been telling him the truth the whole time. That he was good and Zero was bad. The cyber elf's world was more than likely just turned upside down. There was no telling how he'd react.

| Dark X crouched down on the floor and clutched his head tightly. His wings were wrapped around him closely, shielding him in a comforting embrace. Surprisingly, they didn't cut him even when they touched his skin. X wanted to comfort him, but those wings were rather dangerous to be around. Instead he could only watch the smaller elf.
"Y...you're...you're both lying...!" he eventually whispered. "Nii-chan...h-he wouldn't lie to me...he's a good person... YOU'RE BOTH LYING!!!"
A dark purple and black light engulfed Dark X, and his wings--now notably sharper and larger--shot out from the light. When it died down, the elf had now fully matured and was almost identical to X, but his eyes were scarlet with black sclera, his robes were shades of purple, red, and black, and his hair was blood-red and quite a bit longer.
"I will not let you speak badly about Nii-sama," Dark X stated in a notably colder tone.

| Zero grimaced. "If you won't listen to us, then ask him yourself. I can force him here. Why do you think he ran away when he saw X?" X honestly didn't know what to say to him. It was set in his mind that Zero was a bad person who wanted to hurt X, and that the virus was a good person and his big brother.
But...the virus DID raise him...

It was a very valid argument. If the virus was as cold as Zero claimed, Dark X would have died by now.

| Zero's expression remained relatively blank at the comment. It was a valid one, but sometimes the virus did manage to feel pity for things. Only if they were younger though. "He probably felt sorry for you. He does pity defenseless things sometimes." He stated. He knew he probably wouldn't get through to Dark X on his own, but he wasn't one to lose an argument.

| Zero wouldn't have reacted quickly enough to avoid the sharp wings, but he hadn't been expecting what had saved him.
Virus Zero, now back to normal, had dashed in front of Zero and taken the attack on his own. His eyes were glowing slightly and he looked angry. "Don't touch my host." He growled dangerously. It seemed now that Dark X was fully grown and now attacking others he wasn't as lenient with what the cyber elf did.

It definitely didn't make any sense to the young elf. Nii-sama had told him that this man wanted to hurt Papa, who was Nii-sama's friend. Why did he try to stop the elf from protecting his Papa?

| The virus stood up straight and looked Dark X dead in the eye. "I lied to you. Everything Zero told you is true. I am the one who was made to kill X, and everything." He stated without much emotion. It was almost like he didn't even care that he'd lied to the small elf, though in the back of his mind he did. It just wasn't enough to make him feel too bad. He pulled the wings out of his shoulders not even caring that they cut his hand.
I'm not arrogant, but I don't make mistakes. I just cut down my enemies.

| Dark X stared in absolute shock, as if his whole world just shattered at those simple words. His nii-sama...lied? He didn't care about him...?
His eyes started to tear up as he shook his head in disbelief. "Y...you...nii-sama..."
X honestly felt bad for him. He was raised by the virus and looked up to him, and to learn the truth hurt him terribly.
I wish I could avoid violence...but if I did, this world wouldn't be able to live in peace. So I will fight for this world, to protect humans and Reploids alike.

| Virus Zero grimaced when he saw Dark X start to tear up. It wasn't that he didn't care about the cyber elf, but Dark X probably didn't want anything to do with him now that he knew the truth. "Dont touch my host." He said simply making it seem like he really didn't care.

| Dark X couldn't speak. Instead he ran off and flew up to the roof. It was raining, fitting for how he felt.
The young elf sat on the roof and let the tears flow, then threw his head back with a scream that no doubt the others could hear.
I wish I could avoid violence...but if I did, this world wouldn't be able to live in peace. So I will fight for this world, to protect humans and Reploids alike.

| The virus glanced over at Zero and X before running off to get away from them both. He actually felt terrible, a new feeling to him, but he pushed the feeling down. It was best that Dark X knew the truth. He couldn't lie anymore. He sighed and gathered all the important things from his 'room' before hiding elsewhere.

| X clasped his hands at his chest and looked up at Zero with visibly worry in his eyes. "...I wish we could've helped sooner..." he admitted. He could actually feel the pain that Dark X was in. His heart ached.

| "I didn't think the virus would've found him." Zero admitted somewhat sadly. "He feels bad though, which is kinda surprising." He stated letting X know how the virus felt at the moment.
