| Zero pushed X's legs onto the couch how he wanted with his foot before drinking some of his coffee. He heaved a sigh and got up off the couch before walking back into the kitchen. He felt rather drained just because he had no idea how to properly deal with other people's emotions.

| X set the mug down on the coffee table in front of the couch and slumped over to the side where Zero was previously sitting. He was still too shocked to do much.

| Zero poured out the rest of his coffee and walked back over to the couch before picking X up and carrying the blue reploid into his room and laying him on the bed. He grabbed mug of coffee he'd given X and cleaned out both cups.

| Zero walked back into his room before taking off a few pieces of his armor and getting into bed. He didn't really mind that X still had the bulkier pieces of his armor on. He could just buy another bed if he needed to.

| When Zero entered the room he would probably have noticed some movement under the comforter, followed by a hand coming out from under it, holding a boot. X took off his heavier leg, arm, and chest armor and dropped them beside the bed.

| Zero was somewhat restless in the fact that he couldn't get to sleep. He laid on his back and stared up at the ceiling. Things were starting to get strange, and he had a suspicion that Sigma was behind some if not all of it. He sighed softly and rubbed his face after a moment. His mind was racing.

| X was practically dead to the world due to the stress he'd been through. He had fallen asleep with his back to Zero, but he soon rolled over and was sleeping against him. Although he wasn't showing many signs, he was having a nightmare. There were tears in his eyes.

| By the time Zero returned to the med bay a jet-black Reploid had grabbed X, who had regained consciousness, and pinned him to a wall by his throat. This Reploid was quite a bit larger than even Sigma, and judging from the choking sounds coming from the smaller Reploid it was clear that he was stronger.

| The black Reploid picked Zero up and slung him over his shoulder, still carrying X by his throat. He ended up dragging the two to a maintenance lab, where an a medic Reploid clad in white was waiting in front of two recharge pods both connected to a large computer. The black Reploid dropped the two unconscious Hunters into the pods, which immediately synced to their systems; the medic got to work deleting anything relating to events over the last few days--Veil and Angel's deaths, being attacked, Zero's punishments...

The black Reploid did as instructed, but instead of handling them like rag dolls, he carried them rather gently so as not to disturb them, as if they had just collapsed during training and he was carrying them off to rest. He set them both in Zero's bed with a sheet pulled over them and left.

He pulled his legs up onto the couch, stretching one out across Zero's thighs as he leaned into the corner of the couch. "And thanks. I like it in here a lot more now since it's pretty much fit for living."
