"Um, sure," replied X, taking the marker and jotting down his "signature" (which was a heavily stylized letter x) and a message to the boy.

| Zero took the marker after X was finished and wrote his signature down. It was very neat compared to his somewhat bad handwriting with a line drawn through the middle of the 'Z'. He didn't write a message as he wasn't really sure what he would write anyway before handing the marker back to the little boy.

| Luckily for X, the blond only had two more things to fix before he was finished building. It was a quick build once he had fully thought out the design. It was a different kind of pod, designed specifically for performing aesthetic upgrades and nothing else since he didn't know how a maintenance or recharge pod would react to different directives.
A couple hours later Zero stumbled out of the room waving smoke away from his face. "Shit." He muttered turning back to look at the room. It billowed out of the room but was quickly sucked out by the ventilation system. "Should've checked the wiring." He commented to no one. The pod had short circuited and caused a lot of smoke but no fire. He only had his pelvic armor on and had a full head of hair. It seemed his upgrade had worked.
I'm not arrogant, but I don't make mistakes. I just cut down my enemies.

| X woke up at the smell of smoke and looked around, coughing a little when the smoke got into his airways. He glanced over at Zero and nearly fell off the couch when he saw that the blonde actually looked a bit more human. "W-wh-what the?!!"
I wish I could avoid violence...but if I did, this world wouldn't be able to live in peace. So I will fight for this world, to protect humans and Reploids alike.
