| X looked out at the sea again, noting just now that the water had actually become crystal-clear. Whether it was from the sun's position at the horizon or something else, he didn't know, but he did notice some small fish and crabs below the surface. "Zero, look!" he exclaimed, pointing at the water.

| Zero immediately looked at the water where X was pointing and was surprised once again. He set X down and walked into the water a little bit before managing to catch one of the crabs. It was trying to pinch him, but he was holding it to where it couldn't.

| X followed Zero when the blonde picked up the little crab. It was only about four inches long, not counting its claws, but it seemed quite mean. X had never seen a crab before, other than photos in old books. The brunette turned his attention back to the water when he felt a fish brush his ankle.

| Zero snickered at the crab. He knew if he put it back it would more than likely attack him, but if he kept holding it, it would probably get dried out. He compromised and sat in the water and held the crab below the surface. It came up to the middle of his stomach where he was sitting.

| X sat next to Zero, still watching the crab with amusement in his eyes. Having never seen one, he was rather fascinated by it.
That is, until one scuttled up his shorts and pinched him on the rear. HARD. The elf yelped and jumped out of the water, then grabbed the offensive crab and glared at it.

He said before running down into the basement to get some firewood. He returned with enough to start an initial campfire and keep it going all night if they rationed it out.

| X unbundled the blankets and pillows and arranged them on the ground; three of them layered together made up a bed, and one more would be the one to cover up with in case the fire died down. The pillows were arranged in a semicircle so they could sleep comfortably. He had grabbed much more than he thought.

| Zero turned his head to look back at X when he heard something rustling through the bag. He shook his head and chuckled. "You just can't wait can you?" He teased somewhat before grabbing one of the marshmallows and popping on into his mouth. He had surprisingly remembered to bring something to cook everything over the fire with.
I'm not arrogant, but I don't make mistakes. I just cut down my enemies.
