| When Zero went limp and collapsed, he wound up falling against X. The brunette yelped as, since Zero was much heavier than him, he was pushed under the water. Still, it was better than accidentally dropping him.

| Zero managed to pull enough strength together to get off X. He didn't want to accidentally drown the brunette. He sat in the water while trying to sort out the messages. Some wires had melted, his processor was fried, and apparently his core had cracked. He was a ticking time bomb in this condition. He would have to be at a lower temperature than normal operating heat if he wanted to ensure that his core didn't blow again, or get damaged anymore.

| X sat up out of the water, coughing a bit before directing his full attention to Zero. The blonde was in terrible condition. Acting as quickly as he could so Zero couldn't stop him, the brunette placed his hand on Zero's back and quickly healed the damage as best he could. It wouldn't be perfect, but at the very least it would be enough.
I wish I could avoid violence...but if I did, this world wouldn't be able to live in peace. So I will fight for this world, to protect humans and Reploids alike.

| Zero was still in shock so he was unable to stop X. He let out a low growl when he felt himself being fixed and X's hand on his back. He didn't want the cyber elf to over exert himself again. Especially not because of him. However, he had managed to get his breathing somewhat under control. It was better than before, but still pretty bad.

| X became a bit dizzy after he finished healing Zero, but thankfully it wasn't enough to make him pass out, and the cool water was enough to keep him in a calm enough state that he could focus. All the while he was trying to figure out what caused Zero to suddenly overheat like that and nearly malfunction.

| Zero was drawn out of his thoughts and looked at X somewhat confused. It took him a moment to realize he'd spoken out loud. "Oh, well, I had another dream about being on Ragnorak. But this time it lasted while I was falling back to earth. I'm fairly certain the only reason I woke up was because my systems started to shut down in my dream." He explained as best he could before looking down at the water. "Only thing is, it didn't seem like a dream. I mean, I was actually overheating in real life as much as I would if I was engulfed in flames from falling."

| X simply stared at Zero for a moment, realizing that he had just once again relived that moment when he could easily have died. The brunette simply leaned against him with his arms wrapped loosely around the blonde's torso. He honestly wasn't sure what to say other than a typical 'You're alive and that's what matters'. | X wasn't aware of just how deep the water he was sitting in was until some saltwater splashed into his mouth. The way he was sitting, the tide was level with his chin. He sat up a bit, but otherwise didn't move.

| Zero stood up and picked X up as well before walking back over to their stuff. He pulled away one of the blankets and put it on the other side of the fire before sitting down on it and setting X down next to him. He put a couple more logs on the fire to keep it going. They should probably go back to the base since they were soaked and it would still be nighttime for a while.

| X wound up sneezing, as being in the water and away from the warm fire had made him chilly. He ended up bundling up in one of the blankets to warm back up, and leaned against Zero again.

| Although Zero was rather cold he didn't bother trying to warm up other than with the fire. He wrapped one of his arms around X's waist on the outside of the blanket. "Do you want to go back inside?" He asked, not wanting X to get a cold, if he could get one.

Instead, he huddled as close as he could to the blonde for warmth before being set in the tub. The water was very warm, making X completely forget that he was still wearing his pajamas. Instead, he let himself sink a bit so the water was at his chin.

| Zero was caught off guard and pulled into the tub as well. If he'd been paying attention he wouldn't have let X do that. Luckily he managed to catch himself enough to where he didn't land on X. The cyber elf's tub was rather large as it almost fit them both laying side by side. Key word being almost. Zero had to halfway lean on his side against the bottom and he shook his head.

| Zero sank down into the water, but the water only came up just above his collar bone. He'd forgotten about taking the hair tie out, as his hair was still wet, and freezing from walking outside. He was a little surprised that X had pulled him into the tub as well. Normally the brunette would've told him to get out or something similar.

| After a moment Zero realized that his hair was still causing him to be slightly cold and he quickly untied it before sinking below the surface to get it wet again. He came back up and second later and messed with his bangs so that they weren't plastered to his face. He wrapped one of his arms around X's waist and relaxed again with a yawn.

| X slipped and sunk without warning when Zero ducked under the surface to wet his hair, and when the blonde resurfaced and wrapped his arm around the brunette's waist, he apparently wasn't paying much attention, as his arm had pinned X down partially by his shoulders. The brunette blew some air out to warn Zero that he was still underwater, even though he knew it was an accident.

| X pulled up a holo screen to examine Zero's status. Certain parts of his body were at normal temperature, but some were severely overheated, and others were, by comparison, cold as ice. "Zero, try resetting your systems," he said calmly. "It should fix everything."

| Zero closed his eyes and tried to focus enough to reset his systems. It was a same result as the energy blast. "I think you'll have to reset the fans by messing with the wiring." He commented realizing that he could barely focus enough to form a decent sentence. Unfortunately X wouldn't be able to do that while they were still in the water. Unless X wanted to get shocked badly.

| X sighed, then carefully helped Zero up and carried him bridal-style, with notable difficulty, to his room and set him on the bed. He grabbed a towel to dry himself off with, then grabbed a second one to try drying Zero off as much as he could so he wouldn't electrocute himself while trying to fix him.
I wish I could avoid violence...but if I did, this world wouldn't be able to live in peace. So I will fight for this world, to protect humans and Reploids alike.

| Zero was rather surprised when X picked him up and carried him, especially the way he did so. It was strange being carried by X, mostly because of their notable size difference. He ended up just sitting there while the cyber elf attempted to dry him off. He was acting like a little kid who hadn't wanted to take a bath in the first place, although the reason for him acting that way was completely different.
I'm not arrogant, but I don't make mistakes. I just cut down my enemies.

| X took note of Zero's seemingly complacent nature, as if the blonde was already starting to shut down again. It was clear that he was too exhausted to function properly. Once he finished drying Zero off, he carefully helped him lie down while keeping the towel under Zero's head to soak up the water from his hair. He assumed it might be easier to wait for Zero to go into sleep mode before attempting to repair him.
I wish I could avoid violence...but if I did, this world wouldn't be able to live in peace. So I will fight for this world, to protect humans and Reploids alike.

| Zero went into sleep mode a few minutes after X had laid him down. However, his systems didn't seem to want anything to mess with the blond at all. Even though it was obviously messing up, Zero's systems went into complete lockdown. A holo screen came up informing X of that fact.
Host in lockdown. Awaiting for problem to be fixed.
Unfortunately, now X couldn't fix the problem.

| X calmly walked over to his nightstand and proceeded to repeatedly bang his forehead into the top of it. He should have guessed it wouldn't be as simple as putting Zero into sleep mode and making a few minor adjustments. The brunette now had absolutely no idea how to fix this.
