| X looked over at Zero when the blonde caught him, having already stuffed one marshmallow into his mouth and was trying to fit a second in. He bit the second one in half and finished them, then giggled a little. "You know how I am with sweets," he defended. "At least I didn't attack the chocolate."

| "Speaking of which," Zero trailed off and grabbed the bag that had their food in it and sat it on his lap. He didn't need X eating everything before they actually cooked anything. He handed X something that he could cook the marshmallows on and stuck one on the stick as well before holding it over the fire.

| X stuck a marshmallow on the skewer Zero gave him, then scooted over toward the fire and held it over the flames, letting it burn a bit. The very end caught fire, prompting X to blow it out before sandwiching it between two graham crackers and a piece of chocolate. He waited for it to cool, then took a big bite out of the gooey treat.

| X began to whimper a bit in his sleep. Omega was standing again, and X had stepped between him and Zero, who was still unconscious. Mother Elf was protecting him. Omega had grabbed X by the throat and had his saber pointed at X's chest.
Still asleep, the elf abruptly stopped breathing as the Omega in his nightmare tightened his hold.

| Zero's dream skipped ahead to where he was in his final fight with Weil. When he killed the human he felt the satellite explode and fire burst out all around him. He could see pieces of Ragnorak. He was falling back to earth now. Fire was starting to engulf him. His systems were slowly shutting down to preserve him. His skin was getting hot and he was overheating quickly. If he were human he would probably be sweating like crazy.

| X's dream seemed to move at an agonizing snail's pace as Omega slowly drove the saber into X's chest. The Cyber-elf tensed up, then went limp against Zero, both from the shock in his dream and from blacking out due to not breathing.

The brunette calmed down upon seeing Zero nearby and realized he was dreaming, but then became worried when he noticed that there were visible heat distortions coming off the blonde. He carefully placed one hand on his cheek, then drew back with a hiss. The blonde was overheating.
Acting rather quickly, X grabbed Zero under his arms and proceeded to drag him toward the water. It was probably a long shot as the temperature change might shock Zero, but it was the only thing he could think of to cool him down.
I wish I could avoid violence...but if I did, this world wouldn't be able to live in peace. So I will fight for this world, to protect humans and Reploids alike.

| Zero half limped half walked to the water. He had a feeling the amount of heat he was generating was hurting X. However when he hit the water he was sent straight into shock. Steam actually came up around him where he hit the water. The water had gone up quite a few degrees just from him being in it. His systems had shut down and his eyes were grayed over with messages. So many messages popped up at once he didn't know what half of them said.
I'm not arrogant, but I don't make mistakes. I just cut down my enemies.
