| Zero walked along the edge of the water. The ocean was like glass with the exception of an occasional small wave. He stopped and picked up a shell with his toes so that X wouldn't possibly be thrown off his back. He held it up to look at it. It was a smaller version of a conch.

He DID piss him off.
The brunette just sat there with his hands on his lap, staring blankly at them. Some water started to drip down onto the backs of his hands, but he ignored it thinking it was just his hair dripping, not the tears in his eyes for upsetting Zero.

| X's crying eventually tapered off into quiet hiccups, but he still couldn't understand why he'd started crying in the first place. Yeah, he thought he had upset Zero. That had happened quite a few times in the past, but it was never enough to get him to start crying. At most he'd just berate himself for a few hours and things would end up back to normal.

| The second Zero touched the brunette, he started to shiver a little. Apparently the contact was what triggered the dream, probably the virus' own influence.
I wish I could avoid violence...but if I did, this world wouldn't be able to live in peace. So I will fight for this world, to protect humans and Reploids alike.
