Honestly, that was the only thing he could think of. He'd discovered a pattern to the virus' "games". If he finds something that seriously disturbs or bothers one of them, he'll push on that same topic constantly until he realizes it doesn't bother them anymore.

X wound up landing somewhat awkwardly when Zero fell backwards. He'd turned sideways so he could curl up close to Zero, but when the blonde fell back, he wound up with his head on the middle of the blonde's collarbone, lying mostly on top of him and pretty much sitting on one of Zero's legs.

| X noticed that Zero was perfectly still, as if he wasn't dreaming at all. The brunette took that as a good sign. Maybe it would be safe to try getting a little sleep. X rested his head on Zero's chest and shifted a little to get comfortable, then closed his eyes to try going to sleep. Unfortunately, he opened them again when he noticed Zero's "heartbeat" starting to go slightly out of whack.

| The virus allowed Zero to wake up, but with how hard X was shaking him and how loud he was yelling it caused the blond to bolt upright. Thankfully he didn't headbutt the brunette when he did. However when he got used to his surroundings again and looked at X he immediately got up and went into the bathroom to wash his face with cold water. He was blushing rather darkly.

| Zero shook his head, partially to get the image of the dream out of his head and partially as an answer to X. The dream had progressed far too far for him to ever say what had happened. He actually wanted to get away from X, just because the dream made him feel somewhat uncomfortable around the brunette. If only because he didn't quite trust himself. Especially with the virus awake and aware. However, X was blocking the only way out of the bathroom.

| X sighed. Seemed like it was pretty bad. Zero was sleeping for a lot longer than usual when they started having those dreams, so it progressed quite far, apparently. But...why did the blonde seem so uncomfortable around him? Was he afraid or something? Or...did he not trust himself?
The brunette stepped a little closer to him with his hands clasped at his chest. "Zero...I trust you," he said, hoping that might alleviate a little of his worry.

| "Really? You seemed to be quite a bit more careful before that stupid virus got out," spat X. It was rare that he was ever angry, but when he did, it took a while for him to calm down, because he didn't seem to care anymore. He couldn't bring himself to trust Zero after what he'd said. He'd been taken advantage of far too many times.
I wish I could avoid violence...but if I did, this world wouldn't be able to live in peace. So I will fight for this world, to protect humans and Reploids alike.

| Zero gritted his teeth and clenched his hands. It was the only thing he could do to hold his tongue. "Sorry for wasting your time. All of it." He stated rather calmly. It was scary when he yelled, but when he spoke as if nothing had happened it was a sure sign to leave him alone and get out of his way. He turned and walked back into the base, heading towards his room.

| X didn't bother following Zero when the blonde left. How could Zero be so blatantly BLIND? X trusted him with his entire being. He always had, ever since their time as Hunters when they first met. And the blonde was now so influenced by virus that he would take advantage of that trust. The brunette was so angered...

| Zero changed out into his armor and wandered around the base for a few minutes. He actually managed to find some old chasers that still worked. There were three, but he grabbed the black colored one and quickly revved the engine before shooting out across the land. The change in the ground suggested he was heading towards the desert.
He didn't really know where he was going, but at the moment anywhere was better than the base. If X really wanted to think he'd do something like that, then fine. He just wasn't going to stick around to deal with it.

| X saw familiar blonde hair and a black chaser shoot out of the base. Apparently Zero was heading out too. Seemed like they'd have to take some time away from each other.
When Zero was nothing but a black and gold speck, the brunette grimaced in pain, wrapping his arms around his stomach with a weak groan. A small chuckle caught his attention. The virus had apparently succeeded in infecting him.

| Before Zero even realized where he'd ended up, he was in the middle of the Ragnarok crash site. He stopped and got off the chaser before going to sift through some of the wreckage. Maybe he would find something. If not it would at least kill time.
