| Zero walked in step next to X to the cafe. They'd started going there on a regular basis and now the other Hunters wondered where they went all the time. Not that he cared. It was funny and irritating hearing the things the others speculated. It was rather strange some of the stuff they said. However, he didn't react as that would just edge them on more.

| X had memorized the route to the cafe after going there three times, so he happily led Zero there. He was blissfully unaware of the comments some of the other Hunters said, which was a good thing; had he heard some of them he would really question his friendship with Zero.

| Zero waved to some of the citizens and even talked to some that walked with them for a bit. They were general conversations, mostly about generic things, like sports scores, the weather, and occasionally about Mavericks. Some thanked them both as well. The blond wasn't much into sports, but he kept up with them so he'd have something to talk with the citizens about. He figured it made him seem more human to them, which wasn't too far from the truth for most of them.

| X smiled when he noticed that Zero was socializing with the citizens of the city. He even chatted with a few people, some of whom he saw every day and got along with well. The little girl he'd seen the first time he went to the cafe ran up and hugged his legs. "Hi Mr. Bwuu Wobot!" she chirped happily.
"Hello, Anna," he greeted, lightly ruffling her hair. He liked this little girl.

| As much as Zero wanted to tell her not to do that, he stayed silent and allowed for her to play with his hair. He hated anyone touching it actually, but he could tolerate children doing that, as long as they didn't get stuff in his hair. He ended up glancing over at X. Although it was obvious he didn't particularly enjoy her playing with his hair he wasn't looking for the blue reploid to help him. He was actually kind of hungry at that point.

| X chuckled a little. "Anna, please come here," he called gently. "He really doesn't like his hair being played with."
"Oh, otay!" Anna immediately released Zero's hair and skipped back over to X, who picked her up and let her sit on his arm. A few moments later her mother showed up.
"Oh, thank you, X," she sighed. "She ran off again. I had a feeling she would find you."
"You're welcome, ma'am," said X as he handed Anna off to her mother. "Bye-bye, Anna! See you tomorrow!"
"Bye-bye!" Anna waved happily as she and her mother left.

He visited some of the citizens on a regular basis himself, but mostly because he knew they really had nothing to do. Most were older humans that he ended up making a routine out of checking on.

| Zero merely nodded and held the door open to the cafe for him to go inside. "It's always good to talk to the citizens. After all, if you don't know what you're protecting you don't have as much of a reason to try your hardest." He stated thinking of those he visited slightly. The real reason he wanted to go to the shops was to find something for them. He tended to get them something every month even though they told him not to.

| Zero chuckled softly when he saw X's expression. The blue reploid had a lot of foods to try, but he tended to eat something different every time they came here. The blond took some of X's fries and ate them after he'd already eaten about half of his potato.

| "Hey!" X jokingly protested when Zero snagged some fries off of the blue Reploid's plate. X stole a bite of baked potato from Zero's plate to compensate for it though. Most likely X was the only one who could get away with that.
I wish I could avoid violence...but if I did, this world wouldn't be able to live in peace. So I will fight for this world, to protect humans and Reploids alike.

| Zero laughed. "Is it good?" He asked though he already knew the answer. X was lucky to still have a hand after taking the blonds food. Anyone else would've faced the possibility of losing an appendage.

| X smiled like a kitten and nodded with the fork still in his mouth. He was glad Zero had started bringing him here and hanging out with him; if not for the blonde he would still be that abnormally quiet, shy C-Class who spent all his time behind a desk doing other Hunters' paperwork.
I wish I could avoid violence...but if I did, this world wouldn't be able to live in peace. So I will fight for this world, to protect humans and Reploids alike.
