| X woke up after about an hour, blinking sleepily. He glanced over at the holo screen Zero had pulled up. It seemed that he was looking at reports from most recent to oldest, as he was going through some from before X was a Hunter.

| Zero stood up and ignored some of the grass that had gotten stuck in his hair. He'd clean it later. They probably had work that they needed to get done when they returned anyway, so there was no reason to take the time to clean it yet anyway. At least, he didn't think so. He started walking back to the base at a somewhat slow pace so that X could easily catch up to him.

| It was starting to get dark outside so there weren't that many people. Mostly service mechaniloids that were programmed to fix things after everyone was gone. He hadn't realized they'd been gone so long. Hopefully the base was managing well enough without them.

| After a little while, the two got back to the base. It seemed to take longer since it was nearly night. First order of business was for X to go to his office to see if there was any.....

He'd gone off to grab some spare parts, as he was ordered to repair some of the chasers, but stopped when he saw X's somewhat surprised expression. "Something wrong?" He asked still carrying an armful of parts.

| X walked over to Zero and helped repair the chaser. Surprisingly it didn't take him long to finish the repairs, and he only got a little oil on his gloves. "I can help wash your hair if you want," he commented after he finished. "It looks like it'll take a while to completely wash."

| X stepped into the tub so he would have a better angle at washing Zero's hair and turned on the shower head to wet Zero's hair. It was detachable from the wall, which proved useful; Zero's hair soaked up the water like a sponge before the underside got wet. After X finished wetting Zero's hair he dropped the shower head, only for the water to spray right into his face.
I wish I could avoid violence...but if I did, this world wouldn't be able to live in peace. So I will fight for this world, to protect humans and Reploids alike.

| "Maybe I should wash my hair." Zero commented when X sprayed himself in the face with the water from the shower head. He was joking though slightly considering it.

| X planted one foot on the shower head in an attempt to keep the water from spraying him in the face, but instead it sprayed water EVERYWHERE, including Zero's face.
