| Zero wiped his face with his hand and sighed. Well at least his armor would definitely be clean. He decided it would be best if he actually sat in the tub and held the shower head. That way X wouldn't have to worry about it. It was a rather large tub and would easily fit the two of them. He sat in the tub and grabbed the shower head before pointing it away from the both of them. "You'll just have to sit on the edge of the tub." He commented sounding somewhat amused.

| X did as instructed and carefully set to work washing Zero's hair. He emptied the entire bottle of shampoo into his hair and started scrubbing the oil out. While it was effective, he was also gentle with Zero's hair, as he knew how picky the blonde was about it.

| Zero closed his eyes while X washed out his hair. It actually felt nice having X wash his hair. It was slightly relaxing. He waited until X said he needed the shower head to hand it to him.

| It took about ten minutes to get all of the oil out of Zero's hair, but once he did he lightly tapped the blonde's shoulder to get the shower head to rinse the suds out. He noticed how calm Zero had become when he was washing his hair.

| Zero handed the shower head to X over his shoulder being careful not to spray either of them with it. He was going to be soaked enough just from sitting in the tub. He didn't really mind though. A small burst of energy and the water would evaporate off him. If only his hair worked like that too.

| X took a couple of minutes to thoroughly rinse the shampoo from Zero's hair, running his fingers through the length of it to get all of the suds out and get the water all the way through. "Your hair is really soft," he complimented before getting the second bottle of shampoo and emptying its contents out.

| Zero ran his fingers through the water that was coming out of the shower head. It was a little strange. He'd never had anyone else take care of him before. He was used to fending for himself on everything.

| X finished washing Zero's hair the second time and rinsed out the shampoo, then washed it the third time with the last bottle of the shampoo. At this point Zero's hair was so waterlogged that X wound up with it splayed out on his lap to wash it.

| When X finished washing his hair, Zero reached over and turned the water off. He stood up and replaced the shower head before pressing on his hair just to get the water out. Sometimes he believed his hair literally absorbed the water when he had to wash it this much.

| "Actually, no." Zero commented before letting out a small burst of energy to get the excess water off him. His hair waterlogged him enough, he didn't need his armor doing the same. He grabbed a nearby towel and started drying out his hair. Surprisingly, he was rather effective with it and managed to dry a good portion of his hair before the towel became too soaked to use.

| The burst of energy Zero let out heated the room enough to get the water and soap off of X as well, leaving his armor rather shiny. The blue Reploid clasped his hands behind his back, partially reverting to the shy Reploid from before. "Your hair's really really soft and shiny," he complimented. | Zero was a little surprised by the action, but he didn't protest. He was surprised because X seemed like he'd reverted back to being shy again, but it seemed he had enough confidence to brush the blond's hair. The blue reploid was being rather careful and he barely felt the tug on his hair whenever X found a tangle. It seemed in a way he was still being shy, or more of cautious.

| Whenever X found a knot in Zero's hair he would carefully grasp the spot above the knot so he wouldn't pull Zero's head when he brushed at the knot, carefully undoing each knot until Zero's hair was perfectly smooth and silky again. It felt a tad odd to be doing this for Zero, but at the same time it felt right for some reason.

| Zero shook his head but had a smile on his face. "Just tell me what you want." He stated knowing that if he tried talking about it any further X would probably get more flustered. "And if I need help with it again I'll ask you." He said while walking out of the wash room and into the main room. He'd done a lot of renovating to his room so now it was more like a nice apartment instead of an office, though he still had an office near the entrance.

| "I think so." Zero had to recheck what all he had as he pulled out the ingredients. "Hm." He was missing a few things, but he knew the cafeteria had them in stock. "Oh well." He pulled up a holo screen and quickly transferred the remaining ingredients he needed before getting to work on making the cake. It would take a little longer since it was from scratch, but it would be worth it in the end.

| Zero got up once again and went to check on the cake. He stuck a toothpick in it to see if it was done. He pulled the cake out of the oven without using anything to negate the heat. He just turned down the sensitivity for his nervous system and was fine. He allowed it to cool for a moment before finishing it.

| "As long as I keep it in here they won't bother me. Unless they want to get hit." Zero commented completely serious while cleaning up. He'd been bothered too many times in the middle of resting for food that he just didn't put up with it anymore.

| X got up and helped clean up the rest of the place. After they finished, he yawned and looked out the window. It was already well past nightfall, and he was sleepy. And didn't feel like going back to his office.
"Zero, can I crash here tonight?" he asked, motioning to the bench nearby. He didn't need a recharge, just sleep.

| Zero looked over at X when the blue reploid spoke. "Sure. The couch pulls out to a bed if you'd rather sleep there." He suggested while putting the rest of the cake away. He figured X didn't actually need to recharge since he was suggesting sleeping on the bench, but he figured an actual bed would be nicer.

| "Oh, thanks." X walked over and pulled out the couch to full length. It was quite a large bed and looked comfy. He stretched out across it, removing some of the extra armor on his legs and arm so as not to leave huge dents in it.
