With his energy levels returning, Vile could move slightly, but still not able to fully due to the damaged mechanics. All he could do is lay in his pod and let his system repair itself. Much to his dismay.

Zero had to walk back and forth in the medical bay just because X had decided to sit on the opposite side of the large room as Vile. This caused him to pass by the damaged reploid a few times while getting parts he needed. It took quite some time to finally finish the repairs, but once he was done he handed it back to X. "Any other damage?" He asked since X had ran the diagnostic himself.

X shook his head. "Just low energy levels," he replied, putting his gauntlet back on. It was good as new. "I just need some rest or an E-Tank and I should be fine." The blue Reploid glanced over at Vile, still feeling rather uneasy. No doubt Vile was going to come after him again later.

Vile began to form a plan. Once his armor and system were finished, he would attempt a new weapon yet again. This would be his single strongest one. An attack that dumps his entire weapon energy supply into one strike. 'No, that isn't a good idea right now.' He thought, 'Maybe one of those ride armors would be a good idea. I bet I could do something good with one of those.'

"Go get some rest. An E-tank won't be as good for your systems at the moment." Zero said before cleaning up his little workstation. He would have to keep an eye on X and Vile. "Alright. See you later, Zero." X gave a small wave and walked back to his office, facepalming when he saw yet ANOTHER pile of paperwork on his desk. He groaned and filled it out. It wasn't too much, thankfully, so he finished in about thirty minutes. Not wanting Vile to get on his case again, the blue Reploid took the papers down to the archives and entered them into the database, then returned to his office and got into his recharge pod to rest. It was mid-afternoon.

After three days of being trapped in the recharge pod, Vile was finally repaired. His first plan was to customize a ride armor, a plan he felt was the best one. Reaching the ride armor hanger, he quickly opened one's hatch and got to work. "I'll revamp it's hydrolics to increase power and recalibrate it's energy signature to match mine. That way I'll be able to summon it. Maybe a nice weapon would be good." Vile said aloud still working. It was an unwritten rule that hunters were only to access the hanger when ride armors where premitted. And right now they weren't.

Zero went back to his basic duties of filing paperwork and ordering the lower class Hunters around. However, he was soon bored and decided to go train for a while. He needed to be in the best shape possible to keep up with Vile. The enemies were S-Rank and there were ten of them somewhere in the holographic world the room created. It took him about an hour to actually dispatch all of them. Thankfully he wasn't too damaged, but his arm was offline and his armor was cracked in quite a few places. Thankfully it wasn't his buster arm.

X was at the shooting range for target practice, trying to figure out how he'd managed to hit Vile with so much force the other day. His energy output wasn't that high, so a blast with that much power, even if it drew from his core, should have been impossible. It really didn't add up.

As the blue Reploid continued training, flashes of Vile started appearing in his mind, angering him. X growled a little. He really didn't like Vile, and everyone knew it.

The Buster shots started getting stronger and stronger the more he thought about the hell Vile had put him through. After a moment he figured it out. The angrier he was, the more energy he drew upon.

Zero walked past the shooting range on his way to the medical bay and stopped when he saw X doing target practice. He noticed the energy output X had and was rather surprised. He went into the room and chuckled. "I'm glad I'm not at the receiving end of your anger." He commented noticing that X was rather pissed while he was shooting. He had a feeling X was able to pack more power into his attacks the angrier he got.

X was so distracted by trying to obliterate each target that he jumped when Zero spoke up. He immediately calmed down when he looked over at the blonde, a shot still charging in his Buster. "What happened to you?" he asked, taking note of Zero's injuries. "You're a wreck!"

At that moment the energy in the Buster fired, nearly causing X to shoot himself in the foot. X yelped and started cussing out his Buster. It was probably a comical sight.

"Were you training at S-Class again?" asked X in a tone that basically told Zero that he knew about Zero's training habits. He changed his hand back to normal so he didn't risk shooting himself, then walked over to the blonde, examining his damaged arm. "...I think I can fix this if we get to med bay," he stated.

Zero chuckled. "Maybe." He said allowing X to look at his arm. He couldn't feel anything since it was completely offline. He nodded and walked to the med bay. X kept glancing over at Zero to make sure he was okay, then led him to a workbench to sit down while he worked on repairing his arm. It looked like he'd have to replace some of the wiring in his shoulder to get it back online.

Zero sat up on the workbench and watched X work silently. Every time he breathed something sparked. It looked like most of his major joints were damaged in some way. X would probably have to run an extensive scan to figure out everything that was broken.

"Hey, I fought ten S-Class enemies and I'm still walking. To me that's a win." Zero stated while crossing his arms over his chest. He'd fought 7 more than was recommended for an A-Class Hunter to fight by themselves. "The only reason I'm not a scrap heap is because I know how to actually take care of myself. Repair wise." He had tacked that last thing on as an after thought. Cause he really didn't care about how damaged he got while he was fighting.

"Either way it's still foolish," noted X before starting to repair Zero. He really couldn't say anything, though; he'd taken on a few S-Class enemies himself when Zero was "incapacitated" in the training center when it malfunctioned. C-Class and B-Class Hunters aren't supposed to even ENGAGE them, let alone try to fight them, which made it a feat he doubted the other lower-ranked Hunters could achieve.

"I suppose." Zero said with a bit of a sigh. This was why he trained. So he wouldn't be as damaged when an actual fight came around. After some of the repairs were done, X wound up lost in his thoughts. He was worried, having not seen Vile that entire day. Usually by now he would come hunting for the blue Reploid and use him for target practice. No doubt he was working on yet another new weapon.

Zero worked on some of the repairs himself after X started working on his legs. He managed to fix his optic connection along with both is auditory ones and managed to fix his processor without having to open up his head. The worked on one of his shoulder joints as his arm was back online again. It was a little difficult, but manageable. The only thing he really couldn't have fixed on his own were his two vertebrae.

It took roughly five minutes to finish repairing Zero's vertebrae. Once he was finished, he hoped that Zero would be in better condition and able to function properly.

X blinked in confusion at the sudden question, but then regained his senses a moment later. "It's coming along pretty well," he replied with a small smile. "I can fire off much more powerful charged shots now and I don't overheat as badly." It was rather comical how just a few days ago he could only fire three charged shots at the most before he overheated completely, and even then they were rather weak.

Zero saluted X as well before cleaning up the workbench and putting everything back where it went. He did that with the others as well that other careless reploids had just left as they were. He was practically part maid, Hunter, secretary, and demon reploid all rolled into one. Although the last one tended to apply more to the lower ranked Hunters and those that got into his way. Surprisingly he was actually getting along with the one medic reploid that was always out to get him. Maybe it was because he'd actually show slight kindness to her by not leaving her paralyzed.

X decided to return to his training, but instead of going to the usual shooting range, he wanted a bit of a challenge to push himself. "Zero," he called, "can we go to the A-Class centers? I kind of want to use the training simulations again."

Zero had finished his cleaning work and went back over to X. "Sure." He said a little surprised that X actually wanted to train using the simulator. Normally he had to lie to the blue reploid and say they were doing something else to get him to even get near the room. He found it a little sad that X fell for the same thing multiple times. He didn't even have to change what he lied about.

"Thanks," said X. "I wanted to try running that simulation from the other day again. The one with the flooded base." He actually didn't get to finish the simulation, since Vile had interrupted the training session--he had about five more enemies left to defeat on the A-Class level, but he put Vile ahead of the simulation.

Zero nodded and walked back to the training room. He entered a security code and walked inside before pulling up a holo screen. "Do you want to start off at B-Class enemies? That way you aren't starting all the way over." He asked looking back at X before he entered anything into the screen. There was no reason to just assume that X wanted to start off somewhere. After all, it was his training session.

X waited to hear the familiar sound of the door closing and locking, so that when the room flooded it wouldn't cause water to leak everywhere. "Sure," he replied. Since B-Class enemies were what he usually started with, it wouldn't be a far cry from his usual training.

Zero quickly put in all the information and submitted it before closing out the screen. The room quickly began to flood with water. When it was fully flooded a noise chimed which let them both know that the simulation was starting.

A bit of movement in front of X caught the blue Reploid's attention, and he fired his Buster in the general direction of the sound. A screech could be heard before an eel-like Mechaniloid swam out, sending off an electric discharge as it got closer. X shot it again and destroyed it.

I wish I could avoid violence...but if I did, this world wouldn't be able to live in peace. So I will fight for this world, to protect humans and Reploids alike.

Two more eel-like mechaniloids swam out at X. They were charging from either side of the blue reploid. Zero remained where he was and just watched, not seeing any reason to help unless X was damaged. Besides, the blue reploid needed to learn how to fight on his own as well.

I'm not arrogant, but I don't make mistakes. I just cut down my enemies.

X charged a shot and fired it toward the ground, launching himself straight up, then charged another shot and fired it at the two Mechaniloids, destroying them both simultaneously. A small shark-like Mechaniloid started approaching behind him; he fired another shot at it, keeping enough momentum to stay "afloat".

I wish I could avoid violence...but if I did, this world wouldn't be able to live in peace. So I will fight for this world, to protect humans and Reploids alike.

Zero smiled and leaned back slightly keeping his weight on his hands. X was getting better at fighting. The last enemy, another shark mechaniloid, swam down at X from above. It was obvious it was going to try and bite the blue reploids arm off if it could.
