| X was shivering just slightly when Zero wrapped his arm around his waist. He'd forgotten how ice-cold the Absolute form was, and although Zero didn't look any different with the exception of his eyes, claws, fangs, and hair, he seemed to carry a few traits of that form, which slightly unsettled him.
He'd get used to it eventually, though.
X looked up at Zero, noting the thoughtful look on his face, and leaned up to kiss him on the cheek.
I wish I could avoid violence...but if I did, this world wouldn't be able to live in peace. So I will fight for this world, to protect humans and Reploids alike.

| Zero smiled a bit when X kissed him on the cheek and ran his claws through the brunette's hair. It was hard enough to lightly scratch his scalp but not so much that it would hurt. He thought he vaguely remembered that X enjoyed that but his mind was a little hazy. He noticed the brunette shivering slightly, but he figured that X would move away if he became too cold.

| X couldn't help letting out a content purr when Zero started to play with the brunette's hair. The feeling of claws on his scalp felt a little odd, but also felt good. He remembered it from shortly after the Giga City mission, when the three Hunters were stranded in the middle of the ocean; Zero would change into his Absolute armor at night to use his wings as blankets for the three, and would play with X's hair to get him to fall asleep. The content elf was still shivering a little, but remained curled up against Zero, trying to ignore the cold. He vaguely wondered if Zero could eventually shut that ability off.
I wish I could avoid violence...but if I did, this world wouldn't be able to live in peace. So I will fight for this world, to protect humans and Reploids alike.

| Zero continued to run his claws over the brunette's scalp and noticed that X was still shivering. He closed his eyes and tried to make it so he'd stop giving off cold air. After a moment he succeeded, but only slightly. He'd managed to lower it enough to where the long sleeve shirt would trap most of the coldness in. He hoped that it would help out to keep X a little warmer.

| X quickly noticed the air getting warmer when Zero managed to draw the cold back to him, but now his skin was cold instead. Oh well, it was a bit of an improvement. Besides, he didn't care about the cold. He was content to just cuddle up against Zero for a while. For some reason he didn't want to leave Zero alone. Maybe it was because he wanted to make up for being so cold to him earlier.
Then something hit him.
".......Is the virus really a better kisser than me...?"

| Zero ended up looking at X like he didn't know what the brunette had said. "What?" He asked, going along with his confused expression. He didn't exactly kiss the virus on his own accord, but from what he could tell that wasn't true. To be honest they were relatively even, but he wouldn't tell either of them that. "No, why would you ask that?" He questioned wondering why exactly the brunette had thought of such a question.

| "It's just been bugging me..." X replied. "Him kissing you and saying he's a better kisser than me. I can't believe he did that!"
This was the first time X actually referred to the virus as a "he", if only because of the form the virus had taken--that of Zero. But that was beside the point. X was angry at the virus, and mildly jealous that he kissed Zero.

| Zero wrapped his arms around X's waist and pulled the brunette onto his lap. He leaned his forehead against the cyber elf's. "You know he's arrogant." He stated. "And he likes to make you angry. What better way to do that than go after me?" He closed his eyes and sighed a bit. "Don't worry about it too much." He said. He really just wanted to forget about it. He wasn't going to leave X for the virus. That would be a little weird.

| X curled up on Zero's lap with his head resting on the blonde's chest. He knew Zero would never choose the virus over him, unless the virus decided to force him to. And he was fully aware of how messed-up said virus was, just by how many times he tried to break the brunette over the years.
X looked up at Zero with a small smile. "I love you," he said, trying to reassure himself that it was true and that nothing would happen to them.

| Zero pushed X's hair out of his face a smiled slightly. "I love you too." He was just happy to be around X. For most of his memories that seemed to be true. He always wanted to be around X instead of anyone else. Was he always in love with the cyber elf? He couldn't really be sure, but from what he could remember it sure seemed that way. No wonder some of the rookies joked with him about it.

| X giggled a little before leaning up and kissing the blonde quickly. He once again started to wonder when he'd first developed feelings for him. Zero was, after all, his very first friend, and the superior Hunter was almost always by his side. During breaks whenever they had no missions, training, or office work, the two loved to hang out together. Those were the rare times when X was able to smile and mean it, as he was truly, genuinely happy. Zero meant everything to him, and he was always crushed when Zero was injured or killed. One of the fellow Hunters even commented that, when Zero had died protecting X from Sigma, X's eyes had become much sharper, almost like Zero's.
I wish I could avoid violence...but if I did, this world wouldn't be able to live in peace. So I will fight for this world, to protect humans and Reploids alike.

| Zero returned the kiss and smiled. He remembered when he'd come back after being killed protecting X from Sigma. The blue reploid looked colder. He had a feeling that he'd been the one to protect X a little bit from the violence. Although the brunette had changed rather dramatically upon seeing him again. It was like everything he'd been through didn't even happen. Well, not that extreme, but still. It was a little strange to him. He was a little glad when X had decided to become a navigator. Although it put more stress on him, X seemed to be a little more comfortable not fighting.

| X brought his arms around Zero's neck, hugging the blonde tightly. He was so glad to be back with him again after so long. He remembered how Zero seemed surprised at how much X changed when the former had died, but that change was lessened by how enthusiastic the brunette was to see Zero again. When he retired from the field to become a Navigator instead of an actual Hunter, X felt he may have been burdening his friend. That constant feeling nagged at him non-stop until he learned how severe the Maverick attacks had become and decided to return to the field.
Their lives were just a total roller coaster.

| Zero held X and kissed the brunette's temple. He was actually content for once. He remembered while X was a navigator he seemed happier staying by the computer, but also seemed worried about something. Whenever he came into the command room after missions looking beat up and damaged X's expression always dropped and he looked like he was deep in thought. He assumed that the blue reploid was just concerned for him at the time, but later he guessed that X had always been contemplating as to whether or not he should return to fighting.

| X smiled serenely and closed his eyes, enjoying being close to Zero. He always worried terribly for his friend's safety, ever since Zero died trying to wound Vile. Whenever Zero came back from a mission after that, and mainly after X became a Navigator, the brunette would ask Zero to go to the infirmary just to be sure he wasn't injured, and whenever he WAS seriously injured, X always felt it was his fault because he wasn't there with him.
Before X could think about something else, another thought crashed through to the front of his mind. "Where did the virus go...?"

| Zero looked down at X then around the room. "I have no idea. Should we make sure it isn't causing trouble?" He asked looking back at X for an answer. He didn't really care if they did or not, but if X wanted to then they could. It probably wasn't a good idea to leave the virus unattended for too long.

| Zero got up and set X on his feet. He stopped regulating the coldness that came from him since they were going to be walking around, causing his breath to become more visible again. "Let's check my room first." He suggested. He didn't think the virus would just wander the base alone. Then again he didn't really know what the virus would do.

"Take it off." Zero ordered. He could be heard walking to a different part of the room.

| There was a yelp as the door slammed right against X's nose. The brunette cupped one hand over his nose in case it started to bleed, still recoiling from the pain.
When he heard Zero suddenly commanding for the virus to "Take it off," however, he got rather uneasy. Did he just...tell the virus...to take off his clothes...?!

| Now the brunette just could not stop himself. In a flash, he slammed the door open. "ZERO, YOU CHEATER!!!!" he screamed, his face turning red.
He paused, however, when he saw the virus wearing Zero's old armor--although the waist armor was on backwards and looked quite uncomfortable--and Zero holding him up by his vest.

| Both Zero and the virus stopped and looked at X. They looked more confused then they'd ever been.
"What are you talking about?" Zero asked not understanding why X was calling him a cheater. Luckily the virus would clear that up quickly.
"Oh Zero, you're such a pervert! Telling me to take it off when you already have a boyfriend, how naughty~" The virus practically purred. He was just messing with the blond, but it sounded rather perverted in itself. It gained him instant access with the ground, as Zero dropped him immediately. The virus was missing his helmet, which was what had been thrown at the door moments earlier.

| Zero shook his head and his features had become normal again. It seemed the sudden confusion had snapped him out of his Absolute form. He ended up laughing.
The virus pushed himself up into a sitting position and looked at X. "Yeah the only person he'd tell to take it off and mean clothes is you~" He said. It sounded so innocent, but only because of the tone he'd used. It earned him a swift smack in the back of the head from Zero.

| X turned redder than the vest the virus was currently wearing and reflexively covered up the buttons of his shirt with his arms. He didn't exactly mean it, though, it was just...weird to hear that from the virus. He half wondered if he meant it though, given the connection the virus had with Zero.
Though he couldn't help laughing when Zero slapped the virus upside the head.

| Zero somehow managed to look bored and insulted all at once. He kicked the virus in the back. It was harder than he expected to, since the virus went skidding across the floor over to X.
The virus jumped up immediately and grabbed X around the waist, pulling the brunette against him. "Zero might not do that but no one said I wouldn't." He smirked and glanced back at Zero with a wink. He turned back to the cyber elf and kissed him.
A burst of energy could be felt originating from Zero. He was pissed.
I'm not arrogant, but I don't make mistakes. I just cut down my enemies.

| X was caught completely off-guard when the virus grabbed him, and his arms were pinned between his chest and the virus' torso. He was about to struggle away from him when he'd said that, but before he could, the virus kissed him. He let out a muffled yell and squirmed, trying to get away.
A chill ran up the brunette's spine when he felt the anger literally exploding from Zero.
I wish I could avoid violence...but if I did, this world wouldn't be able to live in peace. So I will fight for this world, to protect humans and Reploids alike.

| Virus Zero grinned and moved so that he was behind X and rested his head on the brunette's shoulder while keeping the cyber elf in place by keeping his arms around X's waist. "Come on now Zero. If you're not going to go after X, then I will. Besides I'm the same height as him. We match better than you two." He stated a smirk plastered to his face. This would be so much fun.
Zero growled, the noise low and somewhat inhuman. "Get away from him." He ordered glaring directly at the virus. He started to stalk over to the two. It was obvious he was fully intent on trying to snap Virus Zero's neck.

| X was frozen from the shock of the virus kissing him, but hearing Zero growl snapped him out of it. The brunette immediately started trying to get the virus' arms away from his waist so he could get away from the twisted blonde. What the hell kind of reasoning was that?! Same height?! That had nothing to do with it!
((I really didn't think the virus would be that short, lol))

| Virus Zero nipped X's ear, but looked right at Zero. The best way to piss them both off was to mess with each of them. "Come on X. Don't mean so mean. I'm 'your' Zero, right?" He asked sounding as if he'd be hurt if X said no.
Zero's hand twitched and he stopped. It was obvious something had snapped within the blond. He dashed over to the two and wrapped his arm around the virus' neck, putting the shorter blond into a headlock and pulling him away from X.
(( Well, not the exact same height, but closer than Zero lol ))

| X pulled away from the virus when he nipped at the brunette's ear. For some reason he couldn't speak at the moment. Maybe it was from the shock of how the virus was suddenly acting. But one thing was certain: this was NOT his Zero.
When Zero wrenched the virus away, X stumbled forward slightly and wound up falling to his hands and knees. He looked back at the two blondes.

| The virus jammed his elbow into Zero's gut, causing the blond to let go of him. He ran over to X and grabbed the brunette, but ended up tripping and landing on the bed with the cyber elf on top of him. "Why, X," He began looking up at the brunette. He had a somewhat sadistic smile on his face. "You should've said something sooner~"
Zero had keeled over from the impact. Unfortunately the virus was quite a bit stronger than him and could get away if he really wanted to. It was taking a bit longer than he would've liked to get over the attack. He wanted to murder the virus.

| X didn't even have time to stand up before the virus had grabbed him around the waist and picked him up, then tripped and landed on the bed with X. He moved to push himself up and away from the virus, but the scarlet-eyed blonde had his arms still wrapped tight around his waist He wasn't going anywhere.
"L-let go--!" he pleaded, sounding rather scared. The virus had something planned, he knew it.

| Virus Zero pulled X down and kissed the brunette again, a little more forcefully than last time. He had a rather painful grip on the cyber elf's hair. That was how he'd pulled X down to begin with.
Another pulse of energy radiated from Zero and he pounced on the blond after pulling X away. He punched the virus square in the jaw. He would've drawn blood if they were human and it sounded as if Virus Zero's jaw had broken.

| "MMPH!!" was all X could get out when the virus kissed him again. The brunette tried--and failed rather miserably--to pull away from him, but couldn't because of the hold on his hair. He was incredibly grateful that Zero had pulled him away; he felt the virus' hand, the one on the small of his back, starting to travel a bit.
That sickening crunch when Zero's fist connected with the virus' jaw was enough to snap him out of his stupor, but he was still paralyzed from the shock.

| Virus Zero managed to flip the larger reploid over and started to choke him. His jaw was obviously messed up. It was in a strange position and just looked.. terrible.
Zero gritted his teeth and tried to pry the virus' hands off his neck. It sounded as if his spinal cord was starting to crack from the pressure. And it was made out of steel.
